We Are Here For You
SEAM works with all nine academic divisions. We support over 29,000 undergraduates, graduates, postdoctoral candidates, and their families.
Whether you submit a request via SEAM’s online form, call our support number, or visit one of our SEAM office locations, our student support specialists will be able to give you answers based on your circumstances and needs.

To search and register for classes, log in to SIS Self-Service* and follow the instructions below.
Step 1: Look at the upper right corner for the bell icon, if there is no icon, please proceed with next bullet. If you do have a bell and number, please visit the alerts/holds page to learn more.
Step 2: Under “Registration,” select “Class Search.”
Step 3: Ensure the academic period is set to the appropriate term.
Step 4: Search for classes.
Step 5: Check the box on the right to select the course.
Step 6: Click “Register” at the bottom of the screen.
Step 7: After you click register, you will see course and confirmation of registration.
Note: This is not an official transcript
Qualified students may request to take courses at other divisions of the university by completing an Interdivisional Registration (IDR) request form from their home division and obtaining the appropriate approvals when applicable. Once completed, the form must be returned to your home division’s Registrar’s Office.
School of Medicine students looking to take a course at another division of the university should complete the Change of Schedule form. Once completed, students should visit SEAM’s online form and submit the change of schedule form as an attachment.

Our Homewood office is located on the 2nd floor of the Wyman Center and is open between 8:30 - 4:30 p.m. Our SAIS DC office is located on the 3rd floor of the Nitze Building and is open between 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Our School of Public Health is located at 615 N. Wolfe Street, Suite E1002 and is open 8:30 - 5:00 p.m.
